Re: Soft case for a 36o
I think you are all being extremely precious. I know people who happily carry cellos worth 1000s in a soft case. It is simply practical. Now has anyone got any decent suggestions about a soft case for a very hard 36o!

Precious?? Geez!!
If you don't like the answers jimjim, don't ask for advice! You obviously know better!

I think that you would find that a cello in a soft case would come off decidedly better than a 360 in a soft case when accidently sat on (or similar).

Sorry, Jim-Jim.
Now I gotta get busy sanding dents and gluing cracks on another "precious" Rick that was in a soft case.

Re: Soft case for a 36o
Obviously, the overwhelming majority here would rather pound nails in to their eyes than even consider using a soft case, but I have seen a few forumites who use them because they live in New York and/or San Francisco where the majority uses public transportation. Keep the faith, Jim Jim, someone will chime in and offer suggestions of what they use, in addition to the reunion blues(who make top notch gig bags)already mentioned. Oh, and bye the way, welcome to the forum
Re: Soft case for a 36o
Well, I must admit I have done it with my 620. Still, I wouldn't recomend it. I just have an old Gibson gig bag, I can't see how there would be much of a difference. After all, soft is soft.

James, try these for your needs. I have a double gigbag from them for my basses and they have survived just fine.
