Nope, like a pinhead, I sold it for some forgotten reason. It went to a jingle writer in Chicago, IIRC.

MID with gold guards is a fantastic combination! I'm having my 1981 620 LH refinished in Azureglo with gold guards and after seeing yours, I'm glad I made that decision!
BTW, I have a RIC poster/catalog from 1986 that has a 620 pictured with a white finish with the black trim option and I was wondering if anyone has ever had one of those and if so, do you have any pictures of it? I just thought it was strikingly beautiful.
If there isn't a 12 string Rickenbacker playing at my funeral, I'm leaving.

And to think the new MID was really kind of an afterthought to the JG when we revamped it last year!

Really? Did the color change, or was it just not available for awhile?

I tend to gravitate to blue instruments - my dearly departed 4001 was Azureglo, and two of my three MusicMan basses are Blue Pearl (very similar to MID).

MID changed to what you see now. We got a sample and decided that it beat the former version of MID all to hell. You should see it on a 381!

When did it change last year? Mine was born in August - is it really the new MID?
