Rock out with your big Jimi Hendrix hat, Mr. Rickenbacker bass player!
Re: Jimmy Gilmer and the Fireballs!?
Wow! Not many sightings of a mid-'60s Deluxe out there, especially from the time period. And he's enjoying it, clearly!
I also enjoyed the "chords" played by Mr Gilmer on the nylon string. Is he in drop D or something?

I don't think I've ever heard this original. I only remember the Muzak version with that funky flute or whatever it is riff.
Re: Jimmy Gilmer and the Fireballs!?
Boy, Gilmer was living on borrowed time! That was one of the first singles I bought back in 1963. When was that video from? 1967, 1968?
Leprosy is rare & scarce but nobody wants that!

Rare sighting, 60's deluxe. Cool.
I like the white Jazzmaster. It's a fitting contrast to Mr. Gilmer's black leather pants, which are so in keeping with the lyrics to this song, which are entirely -- GAHHHHH!
Can you believe we used to listen to this stuff?
It is quaint, tho, innt it?!
