Re: What bridge is this?
Roller bridge.
Re: What bridge is this?
Looks like a Rickenbacker bridge with some heavy duty brass saddles?
Re: What bridge is this?
That's Peter Buck of REM's guitar. It's a regular Rickenbacker bridge but the saddles are brass replacements.
Jangle, Chime & Twang.
Re: What bridge is this?
That's what it looks like to me, where does one get big old brass saddles like that, or is that a big Rickentaboo item?
Re: What bridge is this?
Yes, it is Peter Buck's guitar! I have brass saddles on my Gretsch and Telecaster and I just love them! I was hoping to do the same thing with my Ric.
Re: What bridge is this?
Why is there a USA sticker on it? Isn't his guitar from the early 80's?
Re: What bridge is this?
Surely a guy like him has owned dozens in that configuration over the years.
Re: What bridge is this?
While I'm sure he owns several Rickenbackers, that's Peter Buck's original 360. From what I remember, he had the guitar refurbished at the factory and John Hall took pictures of it before returning it to Buck. I guess the put the Made in USA sticker on it as a joke.jdogric12aolcom wrote:Surely a guy like him has owned dozens in that configuration over the years.
