Re: 12 string song suggestions
Thanks, everyone. These suggestions are really great. These are gonna be a lot of fun to try with the band.
It's good to know that 12 string music is alive and well in the 21st century.
Can't wait to try some Knack covers!
BTW, I just saw a great YouTube of the Rasberries doing I Wanna Be With You. Great Rick on it.

The Pretenders "Back On The Chain Gang".
If there isn't a 12 string Rickenbacker playing at my funeral, I'm leaving.
Re: 12 string song suggestions
The Knack, used to do "Good girls don't" with a good friend of ours playing a little harmonica on it, untill she actually listened to the words
Sure missed her live on that one the next time we played out, but at least she still played on the "less offensive" numbers.
"Back on the Chain Gang", absolutely love the outro of that song, bought the 45 and my first chorus pedal thanks to that tune.
Jake, try "Shangri-La" by the Kinks on an acoustic 12 string, talk about a perfecy match.

Re: 12 string song suggestions
Try "Gunner's Dream" by Pink Floyd on a 12. A match made in heaven.
Re: 12 string song suggestions
I know it's a Byrd's song, but "Chestnut Mare" is super on a Ric 12.
Another great 12 song is Dave Mason's "We Just Disagree".

Newbie, here. How about the following songs for a 12 string? Look through Any Window (Hollies), Bus Stop, (Hollies), Tell Me, (Stones), and Johnny Rivers' Secret Agent Man, Memphis (JR), and The Break-Up Song (Greg Kihn) [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMVyH_aR ... re=related]
