My 360/12

Post by johnashfield »

This is my main gigging guitar. I took a chunk of wood out of the head last summer, it freaked me out, but I guess it's a battle scar.

There was a lamp made out of a transmission manifold above the stage, and at the end of the last song, I did a "rock" move and BAM!

I like having the 12 saddle bridge, I know others don't. Whatever works for you!

Also after trying out the vintage PU with Pyramids, I must admit I prefer the hi-gains with the Rickenbacker strings. I know! Heresy!

Yeah, it stayed in tune so I didn't notice until the next day when I went to clean it.

If I had noticed I would have picked up the chunk of wood and put it back on.

John: If any finish could be repaired, I would think that jetglo would stand a fair chance. I understand that it is easier said than done, however, perhaps someone from RIC could suggest a repair method.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Well I am not sure, but it appears that only the walnut broke off and that it stopped at the maple. So I am not sure how a piece would be cut to fit in right.

I am sure it could be fixed somehow, but I am afraid of the $$$ that may be involved.

That and I play out with my band 2-3 times a month, and this is the guitar I play. I have a 360 as a back up, but every one loves the 12. I'd miss it too much and I am guessing it would take a while to fix it.

$$$ and time! Yikes!

Well, you get all the Townshend kudos without any of the associated, er, 'loss of playability'...
