Again--thanks for all the great advice and help.

If anyone is still reading this thread: looks like this beautiful guitar has some real fret wear, down to about 60% of original shape.

Owner says still has lots of playing time left on it. Haven't seen it in person, but I have my doubts.

Any comments or thoughts about refretting a guitar like this with the bound neck? Anybody had a refret on a bound neck Rick?

Can it be done well? Serious costs involved? Easy to screw up the guitar if not done well/right?

A refret can be done on a bound neck guitar, especially by one of the resident forum luthiers. :D
