Actually, nobody missed it. It's tomorrow (May 26), but my twin sis (Susan) and I celebrated the nice round number - 60 - on Sunday surrounded by wifey, sisters, nieces, nephew, cousins, friends, and one remaining aunt (92). It was a great time. Dorothy and I will celebrate again tomorrow with Jeff and Shari Scott and (hopefully) Brian Crisman at the official Cleveland Confluence Chinese Chow Constabulatory (CCCCC) for lunch as I take delivery of my birthday present to myself, the MG 4004Cii "kit" that used to be Jeff's and has been passed around to several Forumites, most recently to Brian. It will someday be reasembled as my first five-string, so some adventure ahead.

Thank you all for your kind birthday wishes! Hope I can squeeze another 60 out of this old bag of bones. Eh, probably not.

(Heard a good one on Leno the other night: "Pete Townshend is celebrating his 64th birthday; Roger Daltry is 65! They're changing the name of the band from "Who" to "Heh??" )

Well, I guess I didn't miss it after all. Happy Birthday!
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

When I spoke briefly with PAul on Sunday evening he said they were cutting birthday cake so I figured that was the day!

Thanks Brian. Good to see you again. Nice partner you got there; "Beauty and the Beast" indeed. And thanks heaps to Jeff and Shari for lunch; you two ROCK! I rock, too, but mostly in a chair. Looking forward to home tomorrow.
