Little help with a Gibson bass?

I'm looking to replace the bridge on my Gibson-esque doubleneck (bass and guitar). The current bass bridge does not really allow ANY intonation options, and I was looking at replacing it with a Eb-0 / EB-3 style replacement bridge. However, these are the 3-point bridge, and apparently my bridge is a 2-point one. Does anyone know if the 3-point bridge would be OK for this, or if anyone makes a 2-point bridge with adjustable saddles?

Yes, that is a wood insert in the bridge.
Distance from center of each stud to the other is about 3 1/4".

Gibson had a two-point adjustable on the EB0 in the 1969-1970-ish period. Spacing between the posts is about 3 and 1/8 inches or so. They have a bad habit of rocking upward in the back (raising the saddles and the action). There are small set-screws, bearing on the posts, but they aren't strong enough to really stop the tilting. I finally drilled two more holes through mine and added a couple more screws, through the bridge and into the body, just to keep it level. No problems since. A three-point is probably easier to find and would be a better bet. Damned things attract dust, too.

Yep, the mutes tend to be a bit haphazard as far as putting equal tension on all the strings, but they work if you're willing to fiddle with them. All things considered, if I was going to replace a bridge, I'd probably use a Schaller or an ABM. The Schaller probably won't cover those two holes completely, but the adjustment is better. The ABM is a touch wider and will cover the holes and also adjust better than the Gibson-style. It's also considerable easier to change the strings than the Schaller because it has slots at the back, not holes.

Yeah, that Hipshot one is not the look I am going for. I think I am going to try a 3-point one and hope for the best.

The 3 point one was the bridge I was talking about, now I noticed the one in question is the 2 point. In the words of the late great Gilda Radner-"Nevermind".

Well, I kind of put this one on the back burner for a while and have been working things out on another guitar.
But now I am being pressed to get this one up and running.
Anyone have an old T-bird bridge or a Shaller 460 in their parts box they are looking to get rid of?

Hipshot seems to have done a much better job in the finer points on this bridge than on the Ric replacement--note the barriers that keep the saddles from wobbling and the great string release.

The imfamous Gibson 3-point bridge, be VERY careful when drilling the holes for the posts.

Mine has the posts on it, the bridge SHOULD be able to drop right on to the studs I already have.

With my luck, no, it won't.
All of the ones I see on Ebay are from Hong Kong, and I am not about to bite on one of those. Or pay $100 for a Hipshot.
