Seems to me the folks at RIC have been quieter than usual on this forum...
Perhaps something is up...

I'm still waiting to "flip out" as well...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Wouldn't it be nice if the "flipper outer" was more of something like this!

Route to personal bankruptcy: announcement of a "4004C/5" with contoured oiled walnut wings and less heroic neck width (1.75" nut is about right) and a "4003/5" with binding, traditional cosmetics and a 1.75" nut.
650D, 660/12
Non-Ric: Precision 5, Sterling 4H, Stingray 5H, Bongo 5H, ThunderChief 5 x 2, L-1000, SG, Godin A6 & A12
"Rickenbacker?!?! You might as well be playing a tambourine!"

I find the 1 7/8" nut width perfect on my Zons. :)

I figured what it will going to be!
a 4001 Paul McCartney bass, right handed ,as controller for the Beatles rock band game!

http://www.thebeatlesrockband.com/

they already got Hofner, john's 325 and George's Gretsch Duo Jet as add ons. I'm sure there would be more.

Tomer, it's a Hofner bass, not a 4001...

And for the first time, we'll be able to play Macca's bass with its legendary Strat whammy bar!!!

yes. i meant that they already have Hofner and 325. i am sure they would make more instruments. some fenders, Gibson's, and 4001!

Gotcha. Language foulup--my fault!

Still...that whammy bar??? I understand that some players might want to play lead riffs, but it's odd to see and nonsensical in any sort of real world.

Oh, sorry...suspension of disbelief is rule #1 when playing a video game.

But why chase after realism in the controllers?

(Exhausted with hassling myself...)
