Back To The Future

Post by royclough »

Here is a rare track taken from a rare album released in 90s called back To The Future it featured 60s stars like Gerry Marsden, Chip Hawkes, Dave Dee, Wayne Fontana performing more modern songs.

Here's Mike Pender (ex Searchers) with R.E.M's weather With You. Biased I know but a good version.

This is a Crowded House song, Roy! But as you mention REM: I always thought they had a "modern" Searchers sound. "What's the Frequency Kenneth" is a perfect Searchers song! They should have hunted more in this kind of sound field, than in the landscapes of "The Rose" and alike! Guitar synth!

I love this song, and this is a terrific rendition in the spirit of the original. Thanks for posting it Roy! :D
