FLYING SAUCER GIRL

Post by Johnny_Voodoo »

Here's something I finished a couple of weeks ago. I'm using a 620 for lead, 4001, and a Hallmark 'Swept Wing' for rhythm guitar. The 620 was hooked up to two channels through RIC-O-SOUND.

I hope you like it.

I'll add to the consensus - great tones on the bass & guitars! Question for the guitar novice: What is this "Swept Wing" guitar you speak of?

The 'Swept Wing' Guitar is by the resurrected guitar company HallMark Guitars. It was created by Joe Hall who originally worked at Mosrite for Semie Moseley who in turn started at Rickenbacker! The 'Swept Wing' was Joe Hall's original concept and I presume his answer to the Mosrite guitar after he left Mosrite. The guitar never really took off and started to fade away into history until Bob Shade resurrected the Hallmark Guitar company. It's like a Mosrite and I think it sounds & looks really cool.

Although they share the same last name I don't think there is any relationship between Joe Hall & John Hall.

Here's their website:

They also make a Batman theme guitar called the 'Wing-Bat'.
