Yes I do!

Progress report: I was able to locate the person I sold it to, who in turn sold it to someone in Texas. So it's narrowed down slightly.

Damn, I feel for you. getting back my AZ WB was much easier; I just had to go over to the friend's house I sold it to and wave a USVRI Strat in front of him, then wait for him to dig the case out of the closet. :o

Kenny,

I hope you can locate it before your 102nd birthday.

I can pretty much assure you its not on Guam. So there, we've narrowed it a bit.

Best,

T

You might have to start taking out ads in all the papers in Texas, that shouldn't be too big a deal...

I'm pretty certain it's not in N.E. Montana... I'd be willing to bet there are only 3 Ricks within 100 miles of me, maybe 200, and they're all in my house...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Ronn (iamthebassman) is in Austin.

If you click on the Members link on the upper right, you can then click on Location in the members list to sort by location ... according to the list, Sean (Phlemmy) is also in Austin, as are about six others.

Hey Kenny,

There's one that looks a lot like this at the Gear Trader right here in Huntington Beach.

I was in there yesterday and they told me "it used to be owned by a Rickenbacker employee". They also said it had built in compression. They also said that it doesn't have a serial # on it.

It's got that same "brown burst" type color.

That's all I know, just thought I's pass it on.

Unless you looked at the jackplate yourself, I wouldn't take it as truth ... I got the same "there's no serial number" when I asked the eBay seller (a music store!) of my 4003S Redneck, even after I told him where to look  ! When I got the bass, of course there was a serial number!
