The angels say he's holding his pick in his thumb and index finger, the Devil says he's flipping them off!
Re: Groovy Beatles pictures
It happens real fast..... it occurs to me that maybe John made one of his patented wise-*** remarks and Paul is sending a return message.
Re: Groovy Beatles pictures
This is footage of the 1964 Melbourne concert. Plenty of wise-*** comments in this footage. Especially John referring to Pete Best.

Re: Groovy Beatles pictures
I wouldn't doubt a little just-between-them joking around!
Re: Groovy Beatles pictures
I missed that..... where is it?Especially John referring to Pete Best
Re: Groovy Beatles pictures
Kent,
As an intro to "All my loving", (i think), John introduces the song as...."Here's one we all know Best!" He then turns to Paul, and, with a snigger, winks and nods at him, and repeats the line,..."We all know Best!" Clearly a dig at their former bandmate.
I'll have to check my dvd of this Melbourne concert, but i'm sure it's "All my loving".
