Weak 4003 bridge pickup. Help.

Post by brianeharmonjr »

The love of my life, my mid-90's 4003, has had a weak bridge pickup ever since I've owned it. Any solutions to this problem cheaper than just buying a replacement pickup? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Check the pickup selector switch and the output to make sure the contacts are not misshaped and check to see if there is any corrosion on the contacts. Check all the solder joints from that pickup to make sure they are all good.
If all that checks out well, you should check the pickup with an ohmmeter.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)
