I know that Lemmy didn't play on this one...but does anybody know what bass is used by his predecessor on the LP?
It sounds Ric -like in place, especially in parts of 'Masters Of The Universe'.
I read in Lem's autobiography that when he joined - or got the gig - the previous bassist had not turned up, but left his bass behind. Wonder if that was a 4001?

[edit] I did some googling and found over here that a certain Dave Anderson was Hawkwind bass player before Lemmy and appeared on in search of space . A Pic of him is over here
