Kenny Howes and the Yeah!

Post by johnashfield »

I just got the cd "Until Dawn" and it rocks!

"number 2" and "you make me feel like I'm not crazy" are my fav songs so far. If you don't know his music, I'd describe it as power pop ala Cheap Trick, early ELO, mostly over driven guitars, that sort of thing. Melodic and kickin'.

Looking forward to getting the other CD I ordered off the website.

I am surpised he hasn't been mentioned under Rickenbacker Artists before. I am guessing he may play a Rick or 2.

Wow, thanks John!

There is a new CD too, will be out very very very soon, once budget permits.

And yes, save for the occasional Gretsch or Epiphone, the guitars & basses are all you-know-whats.

Jerry, every time I see a 330 RED/WHT (red with the white & chrome option) I say that it's a Kenny Howes model. Like this one from RicPage.com: http://homer.netmar.com/~muscon2/r384.jpg

Yeah Kenny I've been to your website a few times, that is the guitar I associate with you. The music clips I've heard are fantastic, I'm embarrassed to say I've not yet bought a copy. Can't wait to hear clips from the new one!
