4003 in U.K. Coca Cola advert

Post by inhuien »

Now I'm sure wasn't tripping and I'm also sure I was awake. I'm sure that I have just seen a small furry type thing playing a 4003 in the latest Coca Cola advert. It starts with a chap playing an organ that shoots CC into the open mouths of these wee furry things, in turn making them squeal and "sing" a tune. Then the front of the organ opens up reveling the backing players, one of whom is grooving with a very cute 4003/1.

I really hope that I'm not losing it. :D

Cool binding and half inch neck pickup spacing.... but not full inlays... good eyes Mark! So does that sort of impromptu concert with little creatures happen much there in the UK?

The toy one is just that, the close up is a tasty 1973 4001. (CB, ½" & Non FWI).

If it is a fake I stand corrected, it looks good to me in the fleeting glimpse on my lap top.

It is a copy - and to be specific, it's a Kasuga EB-750 identical to this one:

These are so rare that if it wasn't for a date discrepancy I'd think it was the same bass.

I really do need help, don't I?
