Isn't this a bargain at this point?

Post by johnny_rick »

If I was righthanded, or a collector, I'd be in on this one.

Decent, but I don't think I'd go over the grand mark. I'm sure some CS fans here would.

Looks like someone scribbled something with a Sharpie on the lower horn. Maybe that's why it's so low in price. Looks similar to mine. I wonder if it's possible to remove the scribble. If it didn't have the Sharpie stains I might have bid on it.

I once got an autograph (one of the Badfinger members) on my Hofner bass, I later regretted. I pored over the internet and found others who had the same dilemma and fixed it. I got one of the products, which was OOP'S Multi-Purpose remover. It took the permanent ink black marker off 100 % with no damage to the surface.

It still has over 7 days to go....

Can't make out what is on the lower bout, in front of the signature....

Seen in this picture....

It looks like someone taped a protective cover over the signature.

The text of the listing does mention that there is plastic over the sig:

"Please note there's a transparent piece of plastic covering the autograph."

My dog tried to read it to me.

It didn't say "BACON". So he left the room without uttering a sound.

LOL! Hey- the dog in the commercial clearly says "There! From that bag- I CAN'T READ- what's it say?"
Cats can't read either: http://badcontrol.com/wp-content/upload ... 3/cats.jpg
Because I told you before- oh, you can't do that.

Oh, I don't know. That looks like a pretty tough crowd, I'm betting they kicked the dog's butt and just took over...
