gratuitis headshot pic for your viewing pleasure

Post by woodyng »

my good friend and master model-builder recently "refinished" my cii's black/gold trc to a lustrous gold metallic with sharpie black lettering. i think it looks really good! another friend suggested putting some clearcoat laquer over this, but i think it looks good as is,what do ya'll think? sorry this is just an iphone pic,but i think you get the idea.....

Nice pic, Woody. Anyone that recently purchased a new Cii can see that the headstock has gotten larger (wider) on the newer ones.

After seeing the new 4004 basses at the last NAMM show, Jdog's trans green Cii and Tony's Blueburst, yes the headstocks have gotten wider on the new Cii basses. This is cool and interesting. Variations in the headstocks and bodies of the 4004 basses can be seen like the 4001 and 4003 basses. :D

I wonder if wider headstock equals fatter neck? I really like the looks of Woody's headstock with the gold TRC, nice job!!

They felt comfy to me. I like the wider, but thinner profile of the 4004 necks.
