I think that is the nicest looking Ric with gold guards I have seen! I thought I liked the MID with gold, but this is classic. Nice look.

Thanks guys! Sorry the TRC doesn't look right, it's actually a darker gold than the guards. The upper & lower guards are from a 660/12 TUR I bought here, and the upper guard has a mysterious signature on the back. Looks like initials CC. This guitar is on deck for Surefin, by the way. It's getting a very cool new finish, something you've probably never seen on a Rick, at least not like this...

Groovy, man. Nice job. I dunno.......gold t/p would add to the look but I like the current presentation. It looks stealth. My dos centavos' worth.......G-foot.
Play on, pick often, jam with any Rickenbacker, and prosper.
