The Sun Kings

Post by Bighouse »

I've never seen a tribute band of any kind before...well, The Sun Kings will be performing June 26 just about a mile from my house at the Rio Nido Roadhouse. I checked them out on Youtube and they seem pretty good. Think I'll make it the first tribute band show I'll go to. I did notice the bass player is sporting a Rickenbacker 4001 bass- not sure about what guitars they all play but I didn't see any black Rickenbacker guitars that looked like the one Lennon played.

Should be fun?
Because I told you before- oh, you can't do that.

Yeah, I think that would be a show worth the price of admission.

I just saw the Sun Kings at AROTR in Louisville a few weeks ago...they are first rate and I guarantee you will really enjoy the show. Drew Harrison does the "Lennon" parts and he is fantastic.
