Retrofitting Kluson Vintage style tuners

I'm a big fan of vintage style tuners (almost all of my guitars have been retrofitted with them.)

Can these types of tuners be retrofitted onto a '98 360/6 without major modifications. I know I'd have to drill new screw holes, but I'm not sure of the peg holes are the right size (either as is with conversion bushings).

FWIW, I'm not concerned about the resale value impact.

I recently fitted two sets of RIC Deluxe tuners to a 1997 330/12FG. I needed to open up a couple of the holes the slightest bit. Otherwise, it was no problem at all.
