CLIP THING
CLIP THING
Before I post anymore clip things I would like to know what you prefer of ones I have done if any.
Re: CLIP THING
I've had better luck with SNTU than the others. I did enjoy the other series' but I'm just not familiar with the real oldies enough to make an earnest guess very often.
By all means, Roy, keep up the good work because I enjoy hearing and learning about the music in your collection

Re: CLIP THING
I enjoy 'em all - also BOTV (Battle of the Versions)... So I appreciate whatever you may come up with or feel like doing, Roy.
Re: CLIP THING
It's all good Roy but I vote for SNTU
Re: CLIP THING
BFTP (the battle of different versions?) was my favourite!
Re: CLIP THING
BFTP is "blast from the past", if i'm not mistaken, while "battle of versions" was BOTV, IIRC.einar wrote:BFTP (the battle of different versions?) was my favourite!
I like SNTU. Besides, #13 would be the next one, and maybe it'll finally bring me some luck.
Nothing will get you dead quicker than being deadly serious about yourself.

Re: CLIP THING
What do "SNTU" and "NF" stand for?
Re: CLIP THING
NF was Nearly Famous in which I played a very early clip by an act that eventually as is suhhested became famous, all 60s related.
SNTU is Singer's Not Turned Up and is simply an instrumental version of a well or perhaps not so well know 60s track. Idea being to say title of track and who had the vocal hit.

Re: CLIP THING
BOTV is not an option then, but my preference!! I was never clever on abbrevations, and neither too keen on instrumentals!
