86' Rickenbacker 4003S5

Post by nextcliffburton »

Rickenbacker 4003S5 /w Orignal Case (5 String) OBO

Hello! I'm selling my 5 String Rickenbacker 4003S5!

This baby sounds great and is pretty rare!
Ya don't see many 5 string ric's around.
It has some wear and hairline fractures (a few but very small) in the body and some in the very very top part of the neck (Near the 17th-20th fret near the E, A string) but doesnt effect the sound or playing abillity of the bass, for 23 years old its doin pretty good. The cracks in the neck are just the finish NOT THE WOOD! I'm lookin for a 4 string ric because I'm just not a fan of the low B string or any 5 string basses. I hate to part with it but I want a 4 string. I'm lookin for $2500 for it or a trade for a 4 String Ric OR OBO!, Payed $2700 but I've only had it for 4 Months.

What I'm really lookin for if I trade is either a Rare color Ric or My dream color would be a Burgundyglo one, I love the burgundy ric's. Otherwise jus the cash so I can find one someday. But If anyone has a unique color they are thinking about trading I could consider it

Nice. I'd love to have the scratch to pick it up and show it some love.

I've been wanting another 4003S/5 to defret so I can have the exact same setup fretted and fretless.

Good luck and welcome.
