Maybe one of his sons ?? The picture looks a little scrawny in the shoulders and accutely thin for John, compared to other photos where his head and body size seem better proportioned to each other .... just an observation.

In the Beatles Gear book, there is mention of Vox hurriedly putting together the prototype AC50, which consisted of a stock AC30 cabinet with just 2 12 inch speakers, a seperate amplifier was used "piggyback" style.
