So BORED and so FRUSTRATED!!
Stuck at the library uploading JPEGs to an FTP for the other half (its' part of her job but it's fallen onto me for the time). Takes so many hours. Good thing I am not employed during my transition from MO to CO but I am missing the $$$.
Now there's wind that we've been getting jerked around on some of our house offers in Denver--a lot of it smacks of realtors and brokers trying to keep the better deals confined to themselves and their friends. I just got a call about it and I'm POed. Sorry, no details should really get expressed here...
Just had to post my frustration.

I think we need a crummy day once in a while to remind us to appreciate the good ones.
But I'd look into that other thing if I was you. Maybe it was the patchouli?

Yeah, patchouli (or more appropriately patchoulol) is usually to blame with me; people claim I still smell like it a year later. My body produces it naturally.

Yeah, real estate agents and brokers, especially in more populated areas, are right up there with scummy lawyers. Unfortunately, unless you can gather enough evidence to find out if they're doing something illegal/unethical, the only think to do is find different ones and keep looking for houses. Even if you find evidence, it won't get you a house any sooner, or even get the suspect agent/broker in much trouble, at least not for a long time while the legal system, etc. slowly works its way around to the case (hmm, more of those scummy lawyers?).
I wish you the best of luck in getting situated. It's always a MAJOR hassle relocating, and the further you have to go, the worse it seems. Been there, done that far too many times...

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Maybe your mother was frightened by Wavy Gravy when she was carrying you.cassius987 wrote:Yeah, patchouli (or more appropriately patchoulol) is usually to blame with me; people claim I still smell like it a year later. My body produces it naturally.

Well, life is a series of recoveries. You're a survivor. This'll all pass in due time. Keep on keepin' on, brah.......Goofyfoot.

Play on, pick often, jam with any Rickenbacker, and prosper.

Listen to The Beatles with headphones. That takes care of most bad days.

real estate---urgh! hang in there, josh. my new boss in memphis just moved from denver, where the house she purchased for $50k less than the sellers paid for it 2 years prior was appraised at another $50 k lower for resale-of course, she is unable to sell for that, and is now looking to rent it....so in general ,the market is as bad in denver as it is in a lot of places.....i do know it's dead in brookings...(my partner is a r.e.broker.....)
