Fun with color

Post by wittyair »

I always wondered what this would look like. Major kudos to Tony D. for absolutely nailing the
color I had in mind. Now that I've done it, I'm just not quite sure. What do you all think??

Hmm, not bad, but in my opinion, the tone of that blue just doesn't quite match the warm hues of the wood...

I really like the blue guards. I'm not sure about putting it on MG, though. But then, I used to hate MG/BT and now I love it.

I think it's really pretty. I can't tell - did you color the TRC, Craig? Yeah, definitely works for me 8)

That's some interesting thinking outside of the box.

We sometimes see a MG/BT guitar with the shiny black guard reflecting the sky and looking exactly this shade, 'ceptin' this one is painted so's it's always that shade. I think it works. Can't see it on too many other colors though...white and silver to name a couple.

I think it would look spectacular with white or silver! As I said above, it's not bad, I actually like the color itself, but somehow, for me, it just doesn't seem to fit quite right with the wood tones. But, that's just me (or perhaps my display  )...

Oops, I meant pink & green...
(Couldn't remember which one was the illusion).

How about this scheme:
