Rich Kids on Lsd-ha-haven't heard them in quite a few years, that cover is just as bad as the N Drivers version of Sweets "Fox on the Run".

For those that don't know, Chinese rock(s) were a type of Heroin that was common in NYC at the time this song was written(76-77). The 3 junkies that wrote that song, (Dee Dee Ramone, Johnny Thunders and Richard Hell), fought for years over who wrote it. Since 2 of them have OD'd on smack, the remaining junkie,(Richard-who might be clean now), claims all the glory. Now that's the kind of trivia you have to scrape off of your shoe

As far as the first guy with the metal axe, he looks ready to storm the castle and take no prisoners-rock on!

Glad you liked the song. Thanks for the infoI didn't know Richard Hell wrote that song.He wrote that when he was in Television or The Voidoid? Or did he write it after Johnny and Dee Dee died("Hey I wrote that!")?

The chinese guy with the guitar was arrested at Tiennamin(sp?) Square 6/89 .

He didn't write it alone. There is speculation (as Mike said) about who wrote it---Richard, Johnny or Dee Dee, though they probably all contributed at the same time. I think Dee Dee had more to do with it than he's credited with. After all----his name is in the song, and it's mostly known as a Ramones tune.
