Now this is yellowing...

Post by tmossman »

My first Laredo returned from Dale this morning. He matched the color chip I sent him exactly. Not the standard RIC color (guitar color for that matter) but it was a dream of mine for a long time.

It needs to have a white trc added. I will check with Kenny/RIC in a couple weeks.

WOW! I like it! Good job! I like the black TRC, though, too.

Looks cool!

Just my opinion, I'd keep the black TRC and paint the letters yellow to match the body.

Love it! I'd stick with plan and opt for the white TRC (IMO).

Very cool Todd! The black TRC looks a bit like the blackened stem on a banana, so I'd go with your plan for the white TRC.

Very cool. Kind of a modern take on the classic yellowed white Rick look. The banana shake with whip cream is actually an attractively related look. That's neat, as I usually don't like guitars that resemble food in any way. This one totally works. Well done!

Todd: This yellow is unique. Do you have a photo that is not against the green so that we can see the yellow with a different background? Against the green it almost looks highlighter yellow. It is nicely done.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

I hate to admit it because it is so audacious, but... I like it!
