Radio spot ending with recording by Rickenbacker forumit

Post by marc61 »

Interesting Radio spot revolving around this years annual record store day on April 19th, and independent recordings. Show is called "Sound Opinions" and is aired on Chicago Public Radio featuring Jim DeRogatis and Greg Kot as hosts.Ends with the playing of a song made famous by the sound of the Rickenbacker 4001 bass guitar :)

Seems like when you click on the link, a bunch of popups may come up. If you click on the download file button, it will download the radio spot.Jim discusses how he learned about indie music from a man named Bill Ryan and his store Pier Platters in Hoboken. At the end of the discussion they play a song by my old group The Cyclones.

Apologies if the link isn't the greatest. I didn't know of any other way to share in on the forum
