Yup, looks like a nice one!
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Thank you for the compliments on my bass. This is the bass that my girlfriend bought me 11 years ago for my birthday, she paid £650 for it and it was made in October 1992.
The mods started after fellow forum member & friend Pete Greenwood gave me a spare V63 treble pickup surround, from there I bought a V63 style scratchplate from Rickysounds & the Ric vintage control knobs from Rosetti.

Yes there are two extra screws in the tailpeice after I had to get a new tailpeice, and did not want to have tail lift again plus with using Rotosound strings i did not want to take any chances again with tail lift. The fireglo has aged nicely over the years the next part of the project will be, the Toaster pickup and hopefully one day the Horseshoe pickup or at the least Horseshoe covers.

The quality of the pictures may not be that good I'm still learning,I only got myself my laptop in May and with thanks to my friends in the IT Dept at work who not only loaded the pictures for me but are going to write an idiots guide for me so hopefully I will be able to do it myself.

I used to have a 92 and it had a neck that was so close to a 60s bass.
It was damn good!
