Selling 1973 4000

Post by bhound »

Looking to sell my 1973 Fireglo. What can I hope to get for it? I'd like to give/get a fair price, but have no idea what it's worth. You can see pictures on the regisrtry page. The serial number is ME2136. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Late last year I sold mine (Jetglo with some retouching and non-original scratchplate) for £895 UK. I think you'd easily get that; it may be worth putting it on ebay and opening it up to European buyers (mine went to Germany; in fact the last 2 Rics I sold went to Europe).

Thanks, to everyone. That does help. Someone said there's a place to sell it on this sight, but I can't seem to locate it. Any additional help in that regard is appreciated, or should I not even try? Thanks again.

On the main forum page go to "Rickenbacker Marketplace" (you need to be logged in to view this - it's under RIck Photography) and you'll find Ricks for Sale, Ricks Wanted, etc.

Or you could do what John posted.
