Registration/serial number question

Post by falconfixer »

On my jackplate it only says: 2722

When i try to add it to the registration it says invalid s/n (or does it mean i am an invalid? :P )

I see that other s/ns for 4003s of the same vintage have two letters preceeding them...

Mine is a 1981 4003 Maple Glo

I 'may' have registered it already in the 20 years i have owned it... but could not find it either...

Just one set of numbers? The letters are at one end of the plate, numbers on the other end. Never seen one with just numbers (with the exception of some very old instruments).
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

It's likely UH, for August of '81.
