Trade in one of your Rics???

Post by Bighouse »

Too many Rickenbacker guitars (not a guitarist, not sure if that's even possible) and want to diversify? This guy is willing to trade...don't know much about geetars, but is sure is pretty...

Because I told you before- oh, you can't do that.

Sold.....but for the life of me, why would someone modify the ad to read sold, instead of just deleting it!

White Penguins are super cool though. There's lots of Rics I'd trade in a second for a White Penguin RI. (though that has to be the most unfortunate sissy name ever given to a guitar. Could they find a more docile bird to name it after? It's like the total opposite of the Falcon, Thunderbird, Firebird etc. )

I gave a lot of thought to this one, looked at my Ricks, and realized that there wasn't any Rick that I was willing to trade.

I have two Rickenbackers, neither of which is leaving my arsenal for a while. They are all I need Ric-wise. Sure, I plan to restore my broken 1997 6-string (into a 6-string, but with an Autumnglo finish), but when that's done and dusted, anything else will just be extra.

I traded a 330 a while back for my Heritage 535. I never could bond with the neck on the 330, and it was a case queen while my 360 got all the play time. So I sent it off to a new home and got a guitar I absolutely love in exchange. Everybody came out a winner.

Folks like me will sometimes tag an item as sold FOR a few days max if there has been a some interest.

If you just delete, you just get the "is your item still for sale" cra*ola, I have certified cheque from R*ma*ian bank and my messenger will pick up. Please have cash ready to give change, because money order is for $29,000."

Those who were interested and tagged your item for search will know the score, and no one else who matters will care.
