Is that the picture of Aitch going under the table? Looks like he is well on his way! I am enjoying every minute of your trip Howard.
Re: Aitch's 2009 UK adventure
I can't understand why Aitch would be in jail for being drunk! On the other hand, being Australian is a fair enough reason!scotty wrote:ok need to end this cause Aitch is in jail due to being drunk and Australian![]()
Looks like you're having a wonderfull time Howard. See you upon your return, if they let you out!
Re: Aitch's 2009 UK adventure
We're probably not enjoying it quite as much as Howard, but I'll bet we all remember it better...mrs_brown wrote:Is that the picture of Aitch going under the table? Looks like he is well on his way! I am enjoying every minute of your trip Howard.
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

No, Scotty....... we were in the pub in the station within 60 seconds!!! It took the other 7 minutes for numpty to get the first beer........scotty wrote:I haven't laughed so hard in ages.So the man arrived and within 8 mins we were in the pub.................
Anyway, after an uneventful train trip to Glasgow I arrived in this fair city. Mind you, the Scottish train drivers need to learn how to park their bloody trains!!!
Scotty then whisked me off to the countryside to..... you guessed it..... another pub! Here's yours truly with some 'gorms' or something in the background.....
Then he took me to meet his lovely wife Anne and show me his latest purchase..... his pride and joy!!
Look out, Jake...... this man does an awesome windmill!!!!

There's a couple of hidden warnings for us all in there.scotty wrote:erm whats a Ric?
A great night chaps, be good.
Re: Aitch's 2009 UK adventure
So then we went on a wee pub crawl.... only 5 or 6 last night to start the weekend off. As the evening wore on the real Scotty appeared..... as I suspected he's into wee girly drinks - a bloody Bacardi Breezer!!!!
There are some simply stunning lasses here in Glasgow. Here's one of the prettier ones......
So today we're off into the vomit covered lanes of Glasgow's city centre for some gee-tar huntin' and no doubt a few ales to keep us hydrated. Graham will be here later this afternoon, so watch out...... it WILL get ugly!!

Amongst other things, Mark...... yes! Although I'd call it droop rather than wilt........too much drinking makes your headstock wilt

I'll expect Scotty to explain the bongos.

Excellent stuff!
Glad to see Aitch getting the traditional wet Scottish welcome...and I'm not talking the weather here.
Now, just as long as Begbie doesn't turn up with the Glasgow "See you"...
