Superb price. The opening was $1500, and for the longest it had no bidders. Sixteen and some change is a far cry form what you would currently pay for a brand new one.

Wow, how did that one slip through? Even pre-owned on the 'bay, these normally go for $2300+.

I was watching it--tough time of year for me so I didn't play. I thought it was going to snipe up in the closing minutes. Sometimes ya guess wrong!!!

Seriously, I don't think the pictures helped the guy.

Hi all! Well, I'm a newbie on this board, but have been a member of the BGC and the late lamented VoxTalks and I thought I'd get started here on a good foot. I was the lucky winner of this auction for the 325c64 and, man, do I feel like I got a helluva good deal. I was just watching the auction for the most part but when I saw that it was still at $1,500 I bid $1,800 and let it ride. I kept updating and updating towards the end and was so happy when no one sniped in at the last minute. So, I've owned a 610/12, which I sold, and I currently own an Alderglo 325c58, but the 325c64 is THE guitar that I've always dreamed of. It's been my dream guitar and what's caused my deep of love of Rickenbacker guitars. I can't wait to get it from UPS. Once I do, I'll post some guitar porn since, you're right, that seller took some nasty, uninspiring pics.

It's great to be on this board and I look forward to setting up my two little 325's for a group photo.

Welcome, Brian. Congrats on scoring this C64...I personally find them better and more versatile than the C58 models, myself.

Hey, Brian. Nice to see you here on the Ric Forum. Be sure to add your Rics to the registration page, too.

Brian's guitar has already been registered in the Ric Registration database by it's previous owner. Do you think if he contacted the board admin he could update the information for him?

Yes, if he requests it, they will assign the register entry to him and he can update it himself.
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...
