When did Ric start making the 350?
Anyone know when Ric started making the 350? I've seen about 2 of them with the slimmer vintage style headstock. How long did ric make the 350 with the slimmer headstock before converting to the wider one?

Around '84 or '85, I think.

That's what I'm going to venture out and say.Scastles wrote:Around '84 or '85, I think.
The 350V63 didn't come around until '96, while the model that inspired it (350JL) came around '88. The coolest variation of the 350, was definitely the 350SH.

The 350Sh would've looked so much better with a slimmer headstock. I've owned a few of them and I found out that I can't be without one.

Didn't they make them with slimmer headstocks for a year or so? The picture of the black 350 in Richard Smith's book shows one with a slimmer headstock. Anyone know when they stopped making the slimmer headstock?

There is an 8/83 in the registry WH1152. It has the smaller headstock, but with Grovers.
There is also a 1970 JG157, but mostly a typo or two in the serial number.
