I just noticed it looks like the binding is coming off on the top horn too.

It's gotta be the reflection of something. Among other Cliff+Rick pics I got another one in colour of the same gig and the binding is just fine.

One day I want to get a Rick Carcass or just by another one and do the Cliff Burton MOD, trouble will be trying to do the Strat MOD where the mute pad once was, I have no Idea how to set that up. Maybe Whoever I take it to can figure it out.

What about doing the mods YOURSELF uh? I think the most difficult part would be the routing for the gibson pup and the strat pup definitely needs some routing too... but you can start practicing with small pieces of wood till you get the hang of it, or in the worst of cases have the routing done by somebody else and you do the other mods... I would think it more gratifying if you do it yourself.

For the extra pup I believe it fits where the mute is, but I haven't measured that.

I think I would like to do that myself one day... with my third of fourth Ric though...

Cheers
