Aaahh, I Remember This Zebra Crosswalk Well....

Post by goofyfoot »

Forty years ago.
Tomorrow, August 8.
Abbey Road Studios.
Zebra crosswalk.
The iconic photograph.
WOW.

Has it been 40 years since this classic photo was taken? As Dylan sang in early '75, "Time is a jet plane, it moves too fast." I can honestly say it does not seem that long ago. But it was. Peace, out.....Goofyfoot.

Yeah, the passage of time is a real trip. I remember well the release of Steely Dan's Reelin' in the Years in 1972. Just hanging around in my bedroom listening to the radio, and the jock came on and said: "Here's something new from a band called Steely Dan..."

Seems like yesterday.
Can we have everything louder than everything else?

yeah time flies ... when you are five a year is 1/5 (20%) of your life.. when you are 50 a year is 1/50 of your life - a much smaller portion... :?

Loved AR album to death... had to buy a 2nd copy as i had burnt out the first.

In Geoff Emerick's book Here There and Everywhere he stated that the Beatles chose a picture, out of the many taken that morning, walking away from the Abbey Road studios. By that time they hated it there.
