Re: Groovy Beatles pictures
I was there once about 12 years ago .... just by my self and there were no crowds or anything. It was kinda weird to stand out in front of Abbey Road Studios.... wishing I could run the could turn the clock back 35 years.

“You can't turn back the clock but you can wind it up again”.... yea.... I like that one.
Re: Groovy Beatles pictures
This is an interesting one I haven't seen before. The question is... is it real or photoshop? If real, it's a gem.

The guy on drums in the first pic looks like the actor who played Pete Best in "Backbeat"!
The "Stu" looks like the guy from the same movie. Totally.
Doesn't look like Lennon.

Definitely look like screenshots from Backbeat to me, Kent.
Re: Groovy Beatles pictures
Does anyone have any photos from the September/October '64 "Beatles for Sale" sessions?
"Beatles Gear" claims there are photos out there of John with his '58 325, his '64 325/6 and his '64 325/12. There are also shots of George with his 360/12OS, Paul trying to use the '64 325/6, John using a harp holder for the first time and John banging a tambourine (probably to "I Don't Want to Spoil the Party"). These are photos I really want to see. If anyone can help, I'd be a happy boy.

Re: Groovy Beatles pictures
There are none of John and his '64 325/6 when he first recieved it that I know of. The first known photo of John with his '64 325/6 is in "Beatles Gear" at this dress rehearsal, only a few hours before The Beatles' shot the first verison of the Feb. 16 Ed Sullivan show (a dress rehearsal)...kieran campbell wrote:Does any body know if there were any pictures taken when john recevied his second 325?
