Any Left-Handed Rickenbacker players?

Post by rbeezay »

Hi there,

I hope this is the relevant section of the forums to post in but would anyone here happen to be a left-handed rickenbacker player? I've been looking for a lefty 330/360/6/12 for the past few weeks and was wondering if anybody knew the best way of getting hold of one. I'm from the UK and we only have one rick supplier and their website (rosetti.co.uk) displays left-handed models as being currently unavailable. I'm willing to look at over-seas stores from the USA and Europe (via the internet of course!), ebay, private sellers etc.

Thanks,

Rich

I got my 340 at Southpaw Guitars in Houston, in 2003.

I just had a look at their website and unfortunately it seems they no longer sell rickenbackers :(
Nice guitars though :)

There is a nice 1987 330 on ebay right now
Item number: 350236967480

I play a 330 and a 360/12 left handed.
Good luck

Described as... 'excellent 100% original condition'

But I can see numerous dings, scratches and chunks out, not to mention where it appears to have been dropped and damaged the wood near the jack plate. I'm not sure how black 'ages nicely' but the screws have certainly aged well - to rust!

On closer inspection it has had a shoddy refret and it looks like a shoddy respray too!

Caveat emptor :(

Guitar's had a rough life. Although I think it's got its original JG (though it's been touched up in spots), the refret is a laugh--the fretboard's been stripped and the frets are jumbos. Worth <$1K, IMO.
