This type of show (along with all "reality" shows) would not exist if people had any pride, or even had a clue as to what pride is.

Yup. That's why I don't watch 'em.

Not to defend the show, but the homeowners call Clean House because they want help and their lives are so out of control with clutter that they can't clean it up themselves. If they didn't have all that **** saved and stored and tripping over it in their house, they wouldn't have to have help. Easy solution. Throw it out yourself. Keep the good stuff. Rent a dumpster, throw out the **** and keep the heirlooms and guitars.

Is this frightening-sounding episode on YT or Hulu?

Yeah, but these people can't do that.

The biggest problem these people face is the reasons why they end up with an insane cluttered house----fixing the psychological issues related to hoarding and "packrat" syndrome are quite deep and can't be solved by simply throwing everything out on a TV show. The house will look just like it did before in a few years.

I feel like I need to go throw some stuff out now-no guitars or amps though.
