I've always been fond of the Ø since it has multiple uses.

Latin O with a slash and it's the symbol for electrical phase, as in 3 phase ( or 3 Ø)

FYI, for those not familiar with the shortcuts for this symbol, press and hold down the alt key and type in 0216 and release the alt key (in Windows anyway).

MUCH easier in Apple OS...simply open the Special Characters window and wail away--there's hundreds of confusing pictograms there in addition to all the oddities seen on the Latin alphabet. I'd demonstrate, but I'm on my Windows laptop right now...

Oh, Windows has it too. Since the dawn of time, Windows has had it.

I'm just going from memory so I don't have to go hunt the characters down.

All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map

Are you saying my memory is slower than hunting for the character?
