When were your articles published and what were they about???
April 88, April 89, and Jan. 91. Modifying CD players with high performance analog stages. A long time ago.

I'm pretty sure publishing and its freebies have changed since then. :)

I know I gave out quite a few. I wished my former editors would send me one when they make mention of me, though. I'd love to read about them as they came out instead of finding out later online when I'm looking up something. :(

I got a Dunlop wah pedal once for a small piece of advice on home recording published a year or two ago in BPM. No freebie mag though--then again, I was already subscribing.

"As a retired magazine editor I can relate to the rampant "electronic distribution" of someone's hard work that results in no compensation for its creators."

Well said Scott and Paul.

In this world of photograbs, a little respect and less theft would be refreshing.

I tired to see if its on Zinio, by the way, but no luck.

I picked up a few copies, mail order from the publisher, for my files.

It's weird seeing my deck in a UK magazine. :? :? :? :?
