Does anyone sell the repro Sta-Tites?
Does anybody sell the reproduction tuners used on the 325c58's?
Great Ramp In My Opinion.

The ones on c58s have a nickel colored gear with less gear teeth. These have a gold gear with more teeth.
I'm talking about ones like these:

They say Ric-Tite on them. Can they be bought anywhere?

If it says "Ric-Tite", then it's only available from RIC. Just like the "Ric Deluxe" are only available from RIC.

Thanks. I suppose they may come up for trade now and again.paologregorio wrote:If it says "Ric-Tite", then it's only available from RIC. Just like the "Ric Deluxe" are only available from RIC.

Those repro Sta Tites are Schaller.

Their only special feature for RIC are the hex bushings, but you can get those at Stew&Mac.
Another option is buying them from any European dealer.
The cost is more or less EUR 50.
You should ask for the model called ST6 Vintage.

Hmmm ... my modern-era J-160E came with a replacement set of Sta-Tites with Grover stamped on them ... they are vintage reissues, avaliable from Stew-Mac. Are the spindles the wrong size for a Rick?

For a good offer, I would consider parting out the originals on this:
