No, the plural would be Ricks. And please, not Rick's- that would be possessive.
Because I told you before- oh, you can't do that.

Unless your name is Rick, which was the case with the original thread drift post.

There, full circle! Man, wouldn't AutumnGlo or Walnut be a great COY? Or even better, back in production. Interestingly, that is full circle for me too because when I first joined here that is the color I so badly wanted. I got sidetracked by 4 MGs and a 4004C, which IS walnut, but not like the maple-painted ones.

COY - what say ye??

I'd vote for Autumnglo. I noticed on the COY color chart on the Rickenbacker Page that RIC (see I can learn) skipped a COY in 2002?

I wonder how many COY guitars were made in each color and by color and type. Then based on those numbers which COY turned out to be the most popular, most ordered color?

No, actually, Burgundy was the COY for 2002. On the chart, look for Burgundy, and you'll see that it disappeared for a while, then appears again for 2002 and then gone again. This isn't a complete collection, but it's a start:

Kris, I'm 99% in agreement. RIC is the company, and "Rick" (not in caps, unless you meant to emphasize it) the abbreviation for the brand.

"Ricky" is a diminutive with a language value somewhere near "cute" and "little".

This is what I like about the RRF. I learn something new about Rickenbacker guitars almost everyday.

Thanks guys for clearing this up for me!

I'm just STUCK on RIC, can't help it.

Hey, that would be a cool idea......a COY with a MOY (Model of the year) mix and match!

Oh boy oh boy oh boy!

STARTING with a bass, then they can make those thin string things later!

How about a COY RM1999FL Walnut please? 8)

(yeah, me again)

If RIC would do a Rick in AG or Walnut I'd get in line. Considering the "artist's touch" Eric is applying these days, it would be stunning no doubt.

At SCARF I could hardly contain my emotions looking at the 4001 that Paul W had on display - simply beautiful. This is my favorite color - even better paired with a gold guard and TRC.
