My '68 4001 MG turned the big 4-1 in August. Seems like just last year when it turned 40! Which I guess makes sense now that I think about it.

Beware! A rusty saw is lurking there in the corner - bassicide is a crime, you know!walker wrote:My '68 4001 MG turned the big 4-1 in August.

Sweet guitars, Werner! The pics really bring it home. Nice 480, also! Those JGs make a great pair.
Yes, the saw is a little menacing, isn't it? But rest assured its station is not to grate its teeth against the neck of the bass, but the hands of those who try to make off with it!
Sweet looking CS! Hard to believe that the big 2-0 is just around the corner for the debut of the series. They debut'd in '90, right? or was it '89? Did you buy yours new?

My 325C58 date is in the 1st week of August 2008----my birthday is August 2, so it's close.

Nice connection, Bob. I always thought it would be kind of cool to have a Dec bass in my collection to coincide with my birthday.
That flame is making me drool on my keyboard, CJ!
