320 to 325

Post by JWL1964 »

Hi all,

I picked up a nice early 80's 320 in Jetglo last year which has quickly become my favourite guitar. (please see attached pic)

I'm a massive Beatles fan and so I have gone down the well trodden route of lennonizing the 320 to 325 'miami' specs.

I've replaced the 'R' tailpiece with an accent and so the only other thing I can see to do is to replace the TRC which still reads "model 320".

Do you think it's worth swapping it out and if so do you know where I might get hold of one?

Also, are there any other modifications I need to make to get the guitar closer to Lennon's (or the 325C64)?

Thanks

You'd have to search Ebay for a TRC. The only other thing you could do is bend the Accent arm to shape Lennon's was bent.

Nice-looking guitar!

You could put in a vintage style roller bridge...but it's not really worth it.
