Hmm, my Alembic Exploiter is also now-departed, in fact, it has been for about ten years! I do kind of wish I had kept it, though. :|

The WAY over-priced one on eBay looks like WAL to me - too shiny for ATG.

Pictures I've also collected, unfortunately none mine.

Nope, pretty sure that's a Monte 4003 (no shedua strip). If so, it would be the first Monte I've seen on TV. There is a Walnut/Autumnglo on the Kia commercial that has been referenced here often.

I'm not sure if it's Autumn or Walnut, but I don't think the Black Crowes bass is Monty Brown. Look closer! :D The horns aren't thin. The headstock is the 70's/80's shorty headstock. I'm pretty sure the tuners are wavy Grovers. And if you look very closely, you can see the two extra screws in the tailpiece (yes, a 7-screw tail) at about the 3:36 point.

I think the bass is an early 80's 4003. The two-piece pick guard has been swapped out for a one-piece that goes all the way to the treble pick up surround. It also looks like the neck pickup has been swapped out for a toaster.

(Bored Ricky Super-Sleuth strikes again!)

Yeah, I was admiring the flame too! Nice one, Chris.

And Jeff, that's pretty close analysis. But that's what we're known for around these here parts.
